Geauga County Auditor |

|
The County Auditor, as an agent for the Ohio Department of Taxation, is responsible for
administering the Tangible Personal Property Tax Laws.
|
Annually, by April 30th, all individuals operating a business (having an active vendors
license) and corporations in Geauga County are required to file a Return of Taxable Business
Property, which is a tax on equipment, furniture, fixtures and inventory used in business.
|
Tangible Personal Property Taxes collected are distributed back to the local taxing
districts in the same manner as real estate taxes.
