In accordance with Section 319.203 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Geauga County Auditor
and the Geauga County Engineer, by agreement, hereby establish the
Conveyance Standards
governing the conveyance of real property in Geauga County.
|
It is the intent and purpose of these standards to provide a uniform method of reviewing
instruments conveying real property to insure that property is accurately and properly described.
|
It is understood that all situations and circumstances cannot be covered by these standards
and when those situations and circumstances arise they will be addressed by the County
Auditor's Office and the County Engineer's Office.
|
All authors of conveyance instruments are encouraged to contact the County Auditor's Office
well in advance of transfer. Conveyance fees are as follows. |
